Important: We do not currently admit students from outside of Europe.
Erasmus Study PlanIn order to be eligible for the Erasmus scholarship, a student is required to study for a minimum of three months. For the academic year of 2009-2010, this means that the student arrives in Sweden by March 6-7 and study from March 8 to May 31. In weeks 10-22 the student writes a thesis (7,5 ECTS) in either Exegetical, Historical, Systematic or Practical theology, with supervision in the English language. During this time, the student participates in seminary discussions during weeks 13-22. In weeks 13-21 the student takes the following two courses: HS2101 Mail and Female in Church and Society (7,5 ECTS) HS2109 Scandinavian Pentecostalism (7,5 ECTS) Thus, a non-Swedish speaking Erasmus student can earn a total of 22,5 ECTS credit points during the three-month visit at Örebro Theological Seminary. Erasmus students should contact the Erasmus co-ordinator Tommy Wasserman before sending in their application. PracticalitiesThe Erasmus scholarship is meant to cover the student's cost of living abroad. Örebro Theological Seminary agrees to do our best to help the incoming student to arrange lodging in Örebro during the three-month visit. However, the contact between the student and Örebro Theological Seminary should always take place via the Erasmus co-ordinators at respective institutions.
Non Erasmus StudentsAt this point we only welcome students from institutions with which we have an established co-operation such as the theological seminary in Tartu, Estonia, Körgem Usuteaduslik Seminar. These students may take any of our English speaking courses and we will do our best to solve all practical matters. The contact between the student and Örebro Theological Seminary should take place via the staff of the home institution. Non-Erasmus students must contact the Academic Dean Hanna Wärlegård, before sending in their application. |
